WORK on the approaches to Wigginton Road roundabout starts on Monday and will take about two weeks.
An anti-skid surface and white lines will be laid in the evenings on the A1237 and B1363 approaches to the roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights will operate from 6.30pm each day and will be removed later in the night once work is halted.
David Philips, project manager for the Highways Agency, said: "This work is the final stage of major improvements which have already been undertaken at the roundabout. We are carrying out the work after the evening peak period to minimise disruption, but drivers need to be aware that there may be some delays in the area during the evenings over the next two weeks.
"Additional traffic signs are also to be erected on the approaches to the new roundabout to improve lane information for drivers and help circulation around the roundabout.
"This work will be undertaken during the day outside peak periods and is unlikely to cause any significant delay."
