A 16-year-old boy has appeared in custody at York Magistrates Court following an alleged rooftop incident in Portland Street, off Gillygate, yesterday.
The teenager from west York, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces seven charges.
He is accused of two crimes in Foxwood a house burglary on Sunday with a 14-year-old boy from north York, and theft of a motorcycle helmet and keys on June 29.
He also faces charges of affray, criminal damage to two houses in Portland Street and criminal damage to two cars, all alleged to have occurred on Thursday.
The 16-year-old boy was released on bail on condition that he observe a nightly curfew, co-operates with a remand support programme and does not associate with his co-accused.
The 14-year-old boy appeared before York magistrates earlier this week charged with a burglary in Acomb on Sunday as well as the Foxwood raid.
Neither boy can be named for legal reasons.
Their cases will be heard by York Youth Court next month.
