Fears are growing for an elderly woman who is still missing from her York home.
Gladys Paylor, 71, who was last seen at her home in the north of the city on Monday evening, has still not been located.
North Yorkshire Police spokesman Tony Lidgate said: "We are very concerned for her."
Mrs Paylor, a widow, is 5ft 8in tall, thin, with greying light brown collar-length hair. Police think she may have gone off wearing her blue slippers.
Mr Lidgate said Mrs Paylor had often spoken about the good times she had in Scarborough with her late husband.
She also regularly walks to the shops in Eastholme Drive, in Rawcliffe, and also enjoys walking around the lake at Clifton Moor.
Anyone with information about her should call York Police Station on 01904 631321.
