THORPE United took the lead in division one of the York Mitchell League beating Tadcaster Albion 6-3.
A hat-trick from Aaron Tiplady, two by Adam Deakin and a solo from Ben Dickie lifted Thorpe, while Tadcaster replied with goals from D Phillis, J Schneider and J Dewar.
Mark Gover, Hamilton Panthers goalkeeper and man of the match, helped Panthers to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Nestl Rowntree - Joe Fitzpatrick, Lee Botterill and Dale Lumley scored for Panthers.
Real Cliffe left it until the second half to overcome Copmanthorpe Cougars 2-0 with a penalty from Toby Swain and a well taken goal by Thomas Salt.
Poppleton ran out 3-1 winners against Pocklington Town with a brace from Scott Milling and one from Tom Brestin. James Saltyer replied for Pocklington.
Heworth's first win saw Andrew Bilton score a hat-trick and Darryl Cooke also netted in a 4-0 success against Rawcliffe.
Coming from 2-1 down at half-time, Easingwold Town took both points against Fulford, winning 4-2, and lead division two.
Scorers for Easingwold were Tim Toase, Adam Durrant, Scott Dixon and Lee Cattley.
Fulford found the net through Ben Webb and David Earnshaw. Eleven goals were scored in the game between New Earswick and Selby Olympia, with New Earswick coming out on top 6-5.
Their goals came from J Green and D Hunt, each with two, J Patrick and T Richards.
Olympia replied with two from Johnny Barrett, one each from Andrew Best and Jack Healey, plus an own goal.
Ewan Pomfret hit a hat-trick against South Milford for Barlby Raiders as they won 4-0 - Nicolas Brooks also scored.
North Duffield found Corinthians too strong and went down 10-0. Joss Mooney it a hat-trick, with Matthew Warriner and Jamie Brian scoring two each, and John Thornton, Joe Tesseyman and Alec Snowball adding one apiece.
A hat-trick by Jimmy Tomkinson and two goals from Fraser Lumley saw Brooklyn win 5-2 against Copmanthorpe Jaguars in division three, Paul Acton's hit two goals for Jaguars.
Matthew Jackson and Tim Elliot scored for Carr Vikings, but York RI ran out 8-2 winners with a hat-trick from J Mason, two from S Harper, L Dixon, J Rawlinson and S Knaggs also scored.
