I HAVE lived in Rufforth for 40 years during which time there has always been a tip and no trouble in the village.
Not all the villagers are against the tip, I think there are more for than against.
I wonder what the protesters would do if Yorwaste stopped emptying their dustbins every week?
The volume of traffic is not from the tip alone.
What about the car boot sales - and are they going to protest about farmers doing extra work with the harvest? I say good luck Yorwaste, I hope you get it.
