SCARBOROUGH boss Neil Thompson will be without Chris Tate for tomorrow's long trip to Dover Athletic after the striker's red card against Hayes a fortnight ago.
Tate was sent off for violent conduct in the last minute of Boro's 1-0 win at Church Road and his suspension kicks in tomorrow.
However, Marcus Jones, who had been out with knee trouble since the defeat by Rushden and Diamonds 11 days ago, looks set travel with the squad after coming through a training session yesterday.
Gareth Williams is likely to move from midfield and partner Steve Brodie up front, while young midfielder David Pounder or Jones could come into the side.
Thompson, meanwhile, watched York City reserves beat Darlington 3-0 at Bootham Crescent on Wednesday night, but said he was not keeping tabs on anyone.
The former Minsterman chief - who is still unable to bring new players to Boro because of the ongoing FA-imposed transfer embargo - said: "I was just taking in the game.
"Our reserves had had a friendly at Newcastle that afternoon (which finished 2-2) and it was on the way back home. I had a chat with (City assistant boss) Adie Shaw and I just took in the match."
