CONGRATULATIONS to Graham Kennedy in winning the petrol retailer of the year award (September 14). What a shame some of his expertise did not rub off on certain members of his staff at the Boroughbridge Road site.
During the recent crisis their manner in dealing with members of the public was rude to the point of belligerence, and whose idea was it to increase the price of diesel by 7p a litre?
Staff informed me that the petrol company had done it, however during a telephone call to BP they denied all knowledge of this. So why did BP not inform the garage man at Gale Lane who has maintained his prices throughout.
I, like many of my taxi colleagues, will be voting with my feet in future and not visiting any Inner Space Stations, choosing instead a friendly welcome at the many other city outlets.
