Three games in the Senior Minor Cup had to go into extra-time before being decided.
Holme Rovers and Dunnington finished 3-3 at the end of normal time after Holme had fought back from three down with goals by Joe Sharpouse, Mike Medi and Tom Hughes to cancel out goals by Rob Hart (2) and Will Moor.
But Dunnington reasserted themselves with two first-half extra-time goals by Ben Small to give them a 5-3 triumph.
Heworth overcame Brayton 2-1 after extra time, but the most thrilling game was between Rawcliffe and Hamilton Panthers.
Hamilton led at half-time 1-0, but in the second half a 20-metre shot by Mark Rathmell drew the teams level.
With no further goals coming in extra time, Rawcliffe won the penalty shoot-out 7-6 with Jamie Hall scoring the clinching penalty.
In the Intermediate Minor Cup for under-14s teams, Riccall stormed back from two down to win 5-2 at York Sugar.
Selby Olympia and Heworth needed penalties to separate them. It was 1-1 after extra time but Olympia went through 4-3 in the shoot-out.
Heworth were unlucky to suffer the same fate in the Junior Minor Cup when going out 4-3 on penalties to Corinthians after sharing six goals.
Haxby proved too strong for Stamford Bridge as goals by James Gray (2), Ryan Ward, Matthew Fellow (2) and Kieran Isset gave them a 6-1 win.
Grasshoppers recorded a 3-0 win at Tadcaster with goals by Tom Reynard (2) and Matt Kitchen.
Other travellers Poppleton did not fare as well when going down 5-2 at Pickering, who scored through Oliver Campbell (3), Daniel Jaques and Alisdair Laidlow-Waller.
