Yorkshire members vote tonight on whether to accept the club's £10m plan for the redevelopment of Headingley.
The decision will be taken at an extraordinary annual meeting of the club at the ground's indoor school and the scheme is likely to be given the green light by what is expected to be a large proxy vote.
But concern will be voiced by some members who feel that Yorkshire have got a raw deal under the terms of the new 999-year lease that is ready for signing with their landlords, Leeds Cricket, Football and Athletic Company.
And there is also a worry that cash-strapped Yorkshire will have to pay over £300,000 a year in interest on bank borrowing if the plan goes ahead.
The committee, however, will argue that Yorkshire have got a good deal and that the re-development must go ahead if Headingley is to retain its Test match status.
If the plan is approved and Yorkshire go on to receive the £2.9m in lottery cash they say they have been promised from Sport England, then work is due to begin next month.
Yorkshire are aiming for new seating to be ready for the one-day international between England and Pakistan on June 17 but it will be later in the summer before the whole project is completed.
