Clifton WITHOUT won the Parent Teachers' Association five-a-side competition at St Aelred's School, beating Ralph Butterfield 3-0 in the final.
The Clifton scorers during the competition were Liam Spencer (4), James Heslop (2), Stuart Lunn and Jack Blackmore. Their other squad members were Chris Brown, Matt Atlay and Scott Pallister.
The new coach at Clifton is Andy Nicholson, who was assistant to Adam Cooper last season when they won the National competition.
The Headlands team did not turn up but Ralph Butterfield had enough players for two teams so their 'B' team replaced Headlands.
