A GROUP of charity walkers popped into a York mental health resource centre as part of their John O' Groats to Lands End trek. Retired psychiatric nurse Francoise Fraiel organised the walk with her husband, Richard, to raise awareness of mental health issues.
She said: "Me and my husband are very keen hill walkers. Our main objective is to make the public aware of mental health and raise money. The issue is often pushed under the carpet and not talked about."
The walkers are expected to arrive in Land's End on September 28.
