BURYTHORPE clinched their second successive League and Cup double, winning the First Division of the Horwath Pulleyn Heselton York Vale after defeating Heworth by 59 runs.
Andy Milner led them to 169-6 with a sparkling 71 and, alongside Steven Towse, added 88 for the fourth wicket.
In reply Steve Quinn stood firm for Heworth but support was lacking, Phil Hill taking 5-34 for the champions.
Burn have had a tremendous first season in the top flight and, despite going down at home to York, will take the runners up position.
Batting first York raced away to reach 201-5, the highest score against Burn this season.
J Reynolds and Eddie Taylor put on 118 for the second wicket, and the pace was maintained with a quick 65 from P Taylor, while Ashley Abbott returned 5-64.
David Prime and Martin Trevaskiss took the Linnetts past the hundred mark, but when they were parted the wickets fell cheaply as York ran out comfortable winners.
Aldby Park will finish in third place after overcoming Bishopthorpe's strong bowling line-up at Ferry Lane.
Jason Whitworth held the Bishop's innings together with 29, but the middle order fell to the five man Aldby attack.
An unbeaten eighth wicket partnership between Adam Harris and Derek Gardiner just eased them past the 100 mark.
Opener Pete Aconley (49no) and brother Brian put on 68 for Aldby and Graham Marshall's knock saw them safely home.
Thorpe Willoughby justified their club's revised selection policy with a superb win at CGU.
Granville North and Dave Watson both reached 38 as they made 161-7, Rob Ellis bowling throughout the innings to return 3-78.
Brian Garnett and Simon Morgan gave CGU a solid start but once parted the innings fell away to 91 all out.
Watson returned 4-30 and North 2-33 for Thorpe, whose chances of avoiding relegation hinge on their last match against fellow strugglers Drax and the outcome of Stockton and Hopgrove's clash with Heworth.
Woodhouse Grange were no match for Hemingbrough, who now only need to win their final game to gain promotion from division two.
On a damp wicket Grange found the going hard as Richard Seels took their first five wickets and they limped to 82-9.
Phil Mellor (2-17) raised Grange's hopes but Bill Bodycombe and Nigel Jackson buckled down to their task to lead the visitors safely home.
Ovington were in a determined mood defending their unbeaten home record and reached a formidable 192-6 on a rain-affected wicket against Thixendale.
Even the free scoring John Sharples had to graft for his runs as he made an excellent 84.
In reply Les Milburn made a slow but steady 32 as Thixendale struggled to 65 in 24 overs with Graham Whittle taking 5-64.
The last 16 overs were a contrast, realising 77 runs to finish with a respectable 142-6.
Fulfordgate are poised to take advantage of any slip up that Hemingbrough make in the final games on Saturday having steadily closed the gap between them to just 15 points.
Last weekend saw them despatch York Post Office for 90. Tim Wheeler took 6-28 with only skipper Ray Baggaley providing any resistance with 29.

Andy Heaton was on song for British Sugar in their tussle with division three leaders Clifton Alliance.
He sent down 20 overs, taking 5-29 as Clifton were dismissed for 81.
In reply Colin Fairclough took on the role of "pinch hitter" and, riding his luck, raced to 40 as Sugar ran out winners by eight wickets.
Clifton Alliance have had a great season and still lead the division from Sugar, but need to win their final game against relegated Selby to be champions.
British Sugar are one point in front of Wheldrake, who have shown a great improvement as the season has progressed.
Against local rivals North Duffield, Wheldrake were pinned down by the accurate attack of Neil Fensome, Tony Moor and John Patrick.
Struggling at 43-4 Paul Lees came in and opened up with a brisk 31 which included four sixes.
Nigel Chadwick and Andy Fairburn followed his example and put together an unbroken ninth wicket partnership of 60 which took Wheldrake to 150-8.
Wheldrake also used three bowlers, Fairburn, Neil Thurlow and Mike Davies, and each took three wickets as Duffield slipped to 51 all out.
Promotion beckons for two of the top three teams making the weekend's finale an exciting one.
