ST LEONARD'S Hospice does not wish to be drawn on the fairness or otherwise of the Millennium Dome receiving another £47 million of Lottery money while its own application for £1 million has been turned down.
While such tact is understandable, we feel it is worth asking this question: which is more deserving of Lottery funds, a floundering, massively profligate visitor attraction or a hospice quietly dedicated to caring for the very ill?
