SHEPHERD of York has begun building two massive warehouses for Rockware Glass Ltd in Doncaster.
The £5 million project which will involve 20,000 square metres of extra space will be part of the company's glass production facility in Wheatley.
It is the biggest manufacturing site in the UK supporting the food, soft drinks and dairy markets with clear glass containers. Rockware's clients include brands like Chicken Tonight, Lucozade, Hartley's Jam and Branston Pickle.
Completion of the warehouse project which will have fast-acting electronic doors is expected to be next February.
