Malton and Norton professional Steve Robinson finished joint first in the Yorkshire PGA pro-am event at Filey.
Robinson produced a fine round of 66 to tie with Wiidhall Hills' Bill Lockett.
Filey professional Gary Hutchinson had to settle for third place a stroke behind the leading pair.
Selby took the team trophy with captain Marcus Maith leading his team of M Fussey, M Donkin and M Harrison to success.
Robinson will be busy next month when the Online Computer Services Yorkshire PGA Classic will be held at Malton and Norton Golf Club, September 25 and 26.
The event is the second pro-am to be held at the club and the second time the Yorkshire PGA Classic is to be played at Malton and Norton.
The event is over two days and on the first day, September 25, the professionals compete for over £5,000 in prize money.
The second day, September 26, is a pro-am event giving amateurs a chance to play for an excellent selection of prizes and an opportunity to play with PGA professionals.
