I WONDER how many pensioners like me, who use their bus tokens to pay for their taxi fares, are aware that the City of York Council does not exchange the tokens for the taxi firms.
The drivers (or firms) have to go to Harrogate to exchange the tokens and then wait a month for their money.
Don't you think this is disgraceful and if people wrote to the council it might change its mind?
