MATTHEW Jones is set to play through the pain barrier to help Leeds towards their dream of playing in the Champions' League.
The 20-year-old Welsh international has missed most of pre-season with a shin injury but now looks likely to be drafted into the Leeds side as they defend their slender 2-1 qualifying round lead against 1860 Munich tomorrow night.
David O'Leary has to patch together a midfield torn apart by injuries and suspensions, and as well as taking a gamble on Jones, he will probably move skipper Lucas Radebe into the holding role while deploying full-back Danny Mills on the right side.
He may also be forced to give a debut to teenager Gareth Evans on the left side.
