Of the four top clubs in division one of the Tyke Petroleum Men's Tennis League, only York I failed to win.
Civil Service beat them 66-42, Chris Sorby and Andy Potter scoring 25, while Rowntree Park defeated Bubwith 68-40 to stay third, John Neary and Pete Richardson scoring 26.
Dunnington kept their championship hopes alive, beating Riccall 70-38 with scores of 25, 23 and 22.
Rex Pocklington and Mark Allitt did well to score 17 for Riccall.
Poppleton stay top thanks to their win at York II 80-28, Alex Moore and Paul Turnbull scoring 31, one more than John Moore and Rob Jones.
In division two Knaresborough returned to winning ways beating Fulford 60-48.
Sutton-upon-Derwent's chances seem to have been dashed as they lost 53-55 to Poppleton II.
John Bush and Richard Cantrell scored 21 for Poppleton.
In division three, second placed Sherburn-in-Elmet were not helped by losing to next to bottom Castlegarth II 52-56.
Niall Wood and Paul Carter scored 27 for Castlegarth and Jonathan Sharp and Kevin Brotherton scored 28 for the losers, including a 12-0.
Appleton Roebuck's position was improved with two wins, beating New Earswick 72-36 and, more surprisingly, Wheldrake by 57-51.
For Wheldrake, the first two couples scored 45 games out of the 51.
In division four, Cawood march relentlessly onward with Mike Thurston and Terry Savage scoring 26 out of 66, but second placed Wilberfoss again faltered losing 53-55 at Heworth, for whom Andrew Ward and Alan Bradshaw scored 25.
Bottom club Riccall II had a good 68-40 win over Cliffe, to level all three bottom clubs on seven points.
Dunnington III in division five beat Selby 61-47, Derek Boorman and Mike Sumner scoring 22.
Sutton-upon-Derwent II beat bottom of the pile Nestl 60-48 to consolidate their position.
Boston Spa II kept alive their promotion hopes by beating Selby 68-40, Gordon Milne and Peter Smith scoring 27.
In division six, Boston Spa II beat Bishopthorpe III 95-13. John Devely and Tim Earls scored 33 with the other two couples managing only 32 and 30.
Civil Service II, in third place, had a walk-over against New Earswick II but Rufforth, the top club, beat Bishopthorpe II 68-40 to remain unbeaten. Andy Ivel and David Laws scored 32.
