Burythorpe repeated last week's cup win over York with a six-wicket victory to cement their lead at the top of division one.
Dave de Silva made an excellent 65 on a good batting wicket as York reached 158. Mark Fairweather (6-89) and Andrew Milner (4-65) bowled throughout.
Leaders Burythorpe got off to a poor start losing their first three wickets for 23 with Graham Macfall picking up a couple. Phil Hill was joined by Paul Milner and they added 124 before Hill was dismissed for 59.
Milner went on to an unbeaten classy 81 as Burythorpe raced home with 10 overs to spare.
Second placed Burn were involved in a tight finish at Heworth who had posted 172 for 8. Martin Lancelot was the top scorer with 71, while Ashley Abbott and David Prime shared the wickets.
Burn lost a couple of wickets at the 40 mark, but a partnership of 92 from Geoff England and Prime put them in the driving seat.
Dave Baker brought Heworth back into the game with 3-16 and Burn began to panic as three run-outs testifies.
However, Graham Stansfield and Steve Goldsbrough stayed long enough to see Burn home with three balls to spare.
Aldby Park romped home at Thorpe Willoughby, who are now faced with a desperate fight to avoid the drop, and also in trouble are Drax who were beaten by CGU by five wickets.
Drax were all out for 96 with the wickets shared among a four-man attack. Rob Ellis took three for 12 from 12 overs.
Simon Morgan made 28 to lead CGU home despite three wickets falling to Kelvin Brook.
Stockton and Hopgrove gained much needed points when their game against Bishopthorpe was abandoned because of rain.
Earlier Bishopthorpe made 142 for 8 with David Mallory (35) and Danny Williams (34) going well. Tony Kerrison took four wickets.
Derek Gardiner removed Stockton's top three and they were struggling on 45-4 when rain intervened.
Woodhouse Grange's victory over Wheldrake was overshadowed by a Wheldrake vice-captain Tim Broadbent suffering a heart attack.
A stalwart of the Wheldrake club for over 30 years, he insisted on fulfilling his batting role depite feeling unwell, but during the tea interval took a turn for the worst.
However, he is recovering well in the cardiac unit at York and District Hospital.
Woodhouse Grange won by five wickets mainly due to two more good performances from their junior players. Leg spinner Marcus Smith took 6-6 in four overs as Wheldrake were bowled out for 66 and J Henley made 30 not out as Grange reached 70-5.
