NIDD VALE Group, one of Yorkshire's largest independent motor retailers, has bought a 1.3 acre compound in Stockwell Road, Knaresborough, for an undisclosed sum.
The site, which can hold 200 cars, will be used primarily for extra storage space as well as a pre-delivery inspection and valeting centre for fleet cars.
Nidd Vale has also upgraded security at the site which was previously used for a similar purpose by another motor retailer.
Colin Hainstock, operations director at Nidd Vale, said: "We have now reached capacity at our facilities at Hornbeam Park and this additional area will mean that we can continue to offer both individual and fleet customers the highest levels of customer care."
