The Great Britain and Ireland Women's Rugby League team, featuring former York Acorn Ladies star Michelle Handley, compete in a second match against the England Wildcats on Sunday at South Leeds Stadium, kick-off 1.30pm.
The game is part of the preparations for the first female World Series, which is to be held in England this autumn and run alongside the Rugby League World Cup.
Handley, 33, who now plays for Wakefield Panthers, is one of 24 women named to face their counterparts from Australia and New Zealand and the New Zealand Maori in the prestigious competition which kicks-off in November.
In a match against the England Wildcats last month, the Great Britain squad won 40-12. The squad spent last weekend at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate as part of their preparations.
