VOLUNTEER Arms 'A' are the new champions of Cueball Pool League Division Two.
They put themselves in an unassailable position by thrashing Britannia for whom Tom Galloway won the opening frame.
Volunteers then kicked into gear and won the next nine with two each from Simon Stead, Paul Walton, Mark Fratson and Andy Tomlinson.
Cueball Club 'B' kept up their challenge for second place by dishing out the same scoreline to Pack of Cards. Joe Moore, Paul Wilson, Craig Fox and Neil Harrison all won twice with Dave Potter preventing the whitewash.
Nicky Hunter won two as Bay Horse 'A' drew with Poacher for whom P Molesbury and Danny Bodden won twice.
Phil Embleton kept up his Player of the Season challenge as Burton Stone shared the points with Huntington Sports Club.
Division one has been blown wide open after both the top two teams were beaten. Leaders Cueball Club 'A' crashed 8-2 at Volunteer Arms 'B' for whom Shaun Mahoney, Dave Stannard and Gavin Pickard all won twice.
Magnet, meanwhile, crashed at home to Bay Horse 'B' who had two each from Joe Goddard and Lee Winspear. Paul Farmeary won two for Magnet.
Graham Campbell and John Ibbeson's two wins each couldn't prevent bottom side Mr Q's from losing to Health Club for whom Glen Raisbeck and Johnny Green won two each.
Gary Gunnell and Ade Gill won twice as St Lawrence WMC beat Caravan Club for whom Graham Herbert won two.
Tang Hall Hotel power on in division three after Nigel Smith, Shaun Elliott, Chris Green and Steve Bradley all won twice at Punch Bowl for whom Andy Dodds prevented the whitewash.
Ainsty beat Bishopthorpe SC thanks to two wins from Gareth Bell and Darren Binge. Rich Coxon won two for Bishopthorpe.
Rob Smaje and Pat Dunn gave Cygnet a great start against Post Office Club who then rallied to snatch a draw, Dave Marchbank winning twice.
Sean Sowerby, Sean Daly and Steve Rix all won twice as Old Grey Mare thrashed White Rose.
