FORMER York City striker Richard Cresswell found his way into the record books by being substituted without having kicked a ball.
He was taken off by Sheffield Wednesday boss Paul Jewell after the dismissal of goalkeeper Kevin Pressman after just 13 seconds against Wolves at Molineux - a Football League record - for a handling offence outside the box.
Cresswell, who had been given the right-hand side of midfield berth, was sacrified as 17-year-old reserve goalkeeper Chris Stringer was sent on.
The battling Owls fell behind to a Temuri Ketsbaia goal but salvaged a point with a late Andy Booth effort.
Ironically, Booth had talks with Wolves about a possible transfer a fortnight ago.
The substitution will come as a major blow to former England Under 21 international Cresswell who has been battling to hold down a regular first team place at Hillsborough after proposed moves to Preston and Bristol City fell through in the summer.
