THE titles just keep pouring in for Malton and Norton's Emma Duggleby.

So far this summer the Yorkshire and English amateur titles have already been captured and their was an impressive display for the Great Britain and Ireland team in the Curtis Cup showdown with the United States at Ganton.

Then last weekend the 28-year-old showed her staying power to win the European Amateur crown in Poland, pipping Spain's Tania Elofegui in a three-hole play-off after battling back into contention with a dazzling last round of 68.

However, the big events just keep coming and the next test of Duggleby's currently immaculate play is the European Team Championships in Berlin.

The British side has every reason to feel that they can make a big impact.

"We will be going out next week for the tournament which start on August 19," explained Duggleby.

"And we are feeling pretty confident, everyone in the team seems to be in good form just at the moment."

It will be another adventure for Duggleby, who enjoyed her experience in Eastern Europe last week, though she admitted that she was not in too much of a hurry to return to Poland.

"Where we were on the coast was very pleasant and the course was good, though perhaps not up to the standards of the top courses over here," said Duggleby.

"While Poland was not quite what I expected, the resort where we were staying was very modern and very western, there were points on our travels to get there where things were a little privileged.

"At one of the airports the luggage arrived not on a conveyer but was carried out by a little old chap.

"It was a good experience and great to win, but I won't be rushing back there."

Following the Berlin trip Duggleby will return for two events closer to home with the British Amateur Championship to be played in County Down, Northern Ireland, and then she will be back with the Yorkshire team who will be hunting for a hat-trick of county titles.

But for all her success on the amateur circuit this season Duggleby is not looking to take the dive in to the professional scene.

"I am not looking to make any changes and I am just really happy doing what I am doing now," she emphasised.
