All eyes are on York's rise towards the top four of the Yorkshire ECB County Premier League after jumping from ninth to fourth place in the last nine weeks.But while the Clifton Park club improve, Scarborough were keeping their fingers crossed that one of England's latest contracted players, Craig White, might be available for their trip to Cleethorpes.If York can defeat Driffield tomorrow at Clifton Park it will be their seventh win in a row, apart from two games that could not be completed because of bad weather.They should improve their league points haul against a Driffield side languishing next to bottom of the table.There is, of course, just one important qualification, and that is for one of the youngest sides in the league not to let success go to their heads and make sure that they maintain their concentration in tight situations.Victories over two of the league's front runners - Sheffield United and Harrogate - plus a league and cup double over Scarborough, who never give up easily, has built up York's confidence thanks to a highly charged team spirit under Club Captain Nigel Durham.Marcus Wood returns to the York side after being on holiday last week, Ed Senneck returning to the second team at Crayke in the Costcutter York Senior League.Few prisoners are expected to be taken at St George's Road tomorrow where Harrogate get a golden chance to overhaul the new title contenders, Sheffield Collegiate who are in second place and just one point in front of Gate.Collegiate will be on their mettle after being turfed off the top spot by their local rivals, Sheffield United last week.United are at home to ailing Rotherham tomorrow and, providing that the weather does not intervene, should main their hold on the pole position.Mark Cowell is unavailable leaving Scarborough club captain, Nick Tubbs with his fingers crossed that Craig White will obtain permission from Lord's to maintain match practice by turning out for his home club at Cleethorpes.
