York City's first reserve fixture of the season against Walsall on Wednesday will now be staged at Bootham Crescent.
The game had been schedule to take place at the Bescot Stadium but will now kick-off at 7pm at York.
The return match on December 13 will now take place at Walsall.
Some 250 free tickets for youth groups, schools and teams are available for Wednesday night's match and anyone interested is asked to call Sophie McGill on 01904 624447.
York City's youth team were in action this afternoon when they took on an Australian touring side, Adelaide Panthers, at the club's Wigginton Road training complex.
Northern Counties East League outfit Pickering Town, who have won both their pre-season games so far, play host to Driffield tonight (7.30pm) before welcoming UniBond League Harrogate Town to Malton Road on Tuesday night (7.30pm).
