Burythorpe are the new holders of the Horwath Pulleyn Heselton Cup after beating York in the final at Clifton Park.
York, having won the toss and electing to bat, made a sound start.
Openers Nigel Smith and Ian McGann reached 73 at the halfway stage against the Burythorpe attack of Andrew Milner and Mark Fairweather.
However, Eamon Wall made the breakthrough for Burythor-pe when he bowled Smith for 47 with the score at 85.
Skipper Kevin Mendham followed shortly after a towering catch in the deep by rival skipper Derryk Milburn, also off the bowling off Wall.
There then followed an enterprising stand of 63 between McGrann and James Reynolds before the former was smartly stumped by Steven Towse for 64.
York continued to harry the bowlers and chase runs as the overs ran out.
However, two run outs, including Reynolds' scalp for 43, and two more wickets for Wall - plus two in two balls for Phil Hill - saw York lose six wickets for five runs.
They still managed to post a challenging score of 190-7 and Burythorpe lost an early wicket when Mick Cooper was caught and bowled by Tim Bainbridge for a duck.
That brought in Towse, who was content to play the anchor role while Andrew Milner went for the runs.
Milner produced a hard hitting 44 before being caught on the square leg boundary to give Bainbridge his second wicket.
The game swung in Burythorpe's favour when a chance to catch the incoming batsman Hill was missed./
Towse started to open up and they began to pepper the boundary with increasing frequency as the York bowlers toiled to stem the flow of runs.
Hill was eventually bowled by Graham Macfall for 33 and a couple of runs later Towse followed, bowled by Nadim Sadiq for a match-winning 86.
It left time for Fairweather to heave Burythorpe to victory by six wickets and with three overs to spare with some big hits.
The Horwath Pulleyn Heselton Cup was presented to Burythorpe captain Derryk Milburn by Christine Allpress, manager of the sponsors Horwath Pulleyn Heselton.
