A MASSIVE "lockdown search" for a weapon at North Yorkshire's high security Full Sutton Prison could last a whole week.
Officers have been scouring the jail, near Stamford Bridge, since the weekend after information was received by the prison's intelligence unit.
Stan Walpole, of Full Sutton's Prison Officers' Association (POA), said: "Information was given that someone was going to be seriously hurt. The intelligence unit gets information from all over the place and they advise the Governor as to whether there's something in it."
