Julie Scattergood then won a pairs game single-handed to level the scores at 4-4. Leslie Scattergood and Lucy Harris won the decider.
Michelle Britton gamed in 20 darts and Muriel Britton was a double-ton scorer as Wenlock beat Slipper 6-3.

Julie Brownless and Gerry Morgan won the decider for Acomb after their colleagues Doti Woodall and Angie Wood had levelled against Leeman. Barbara Ward and Mavis Rawcliffe won the decider for Lawrence against Britannia.
Poacher, the division four champions, were given a hard time by Cue Ball but were seen to a 5-4 victory by Yvonne Watson and Anne Barber. Clifton secured second place with a 6-3 win over their nearest challengers, Shepherd's.
Michelle Hearfield and Michelle Stott saw Old Ebor home against Puss 'n Boots. Frog were well served by triple-ton scorer Toni Smallwood in their win against Leeman 'C', and Leeman 'B' romped to a 7-2 score against Queen.

Winning Post's skipper Ann Robinson came to the oche with the scores tied 3-3 in their match with Alice Hawthorn. For the third week in a row Robinson calmly collected the win with a thrilling anchor-leg performance.
