IT took five long years to find a site which met the criteria for a respite care home for multiple sclerosis (MS) sufferers. After many disappointments the present site of Woodlands, was given planning permission and the home was opened.
Your article on Mike Lewis and Woodlands (July 31) says everything. MS members come to Woodlands for peace and quiet and pleasant surroundings which it provides and which would be destroyed by the Next Generation development. Surely this development could be at the alternative site at Clifton Moor where it would not disturb anybody and the new road link would offer far better access.
I think this is the view of most people living in the Hull Road area.
