A PAMPERED pet rabbit from Langton, near Malton, has made into the finals of a competition to find the country's most royally treated rabbit.
Rex is a Dalmatian Rex owned by 13-year-old Jenna Mason. He has beaten fierce competition to make it to the finals of the Dodson and Horrell Royal Rabbit Competition.
Jenna's furry friend lives in a rabbit condominium, a converted Wendy house, with an extensive outdoor run. Rex also gets taken for walks wearing a special harness.
Rex is house-trained and comes into the family home when the weather gets too cold outside.
Jenna said: "Rex is a loveable character. He enjoys being groomed and loves playing hide and seek."
As a finalist in the competition, Rex receives a supply of Chudleys Rabbit Royale rabbit food and a rosette. If Rex wins the competition he will get a year's supply of Rabbit Royale together with a makeover and a portrait.
