Selby Town continued their pre-season programme with a 3-0 victory over Leeper-Hare York and District Football League side Wigginton at Flaxley Road.
The Robins broke the deadlock in the 34th minute with an Andy Cygan header and two minutes before the interval doubled their lead when Peter Collier cut in from the by-line and saw his shot blocked by the Wigginton goalkeeper but Howard was on hand to tap in the loose ball.
Selby added their third in the second half when Cygan side-footed his second goal, but was denied a hat-trick by a succession of saves and blocks.
Wigginton played some neat football, particularly in the first half.
Selby's reserves tackle York RI tomorrow night while the Selby first team entertain Emley on Wednesday (7.30pm).
Harrogate Town play Halifax Town tomorrow.
