New Earswick became the first side to record 11 wins when they had a 30 run advantage in their Costcutter York and District Senior League division four match at Tadcaster Magnet.
With a lead of 78 points over second-placed Yapham, New Earswick are almost certain to claim the one promotion place up for grabs in this division.
In a 30 over game, New Earswick were grateful to Mark Benson's 40 as youngster Jonathan Mort took three for 24 to help restrict them to 113 for nine.
Ian Dawson responded with 32 for the brewers but Andy Freeman took four for 31 and Andy Routledge three for 39 to dismiss the home side for 83.
Sheriff Hutton Bridge just failed to force victory over Thirsk, whose last pair were at the crease when the game was drawn. But the advantage draw rekindles Bridge's hopes of moving out of the three relegation places.
Skipper Craig Hunter made 38 as Bridge made 181 for nine, Andrew Young taking three for 59 and Martin Harper four for 59. John Harper followed with 53 but Mark Hinder took three for 29 and Dave Houldridge three for 32 to leave Thirsk at 150 for nine.
Sheriff Hutton have moved into the top half of the table after continuing their winning streak with an eight wicket success over Carlton Towers.
Carlton were restricted to 126 for seven as Simon Thornton took three for 37. Martin Denby scored 25 and Richard Knapp 27. A decisive third wicket partnership between Paul Wright (75 not out) and Andrew Johnson (42 not out) took Sheriff Hutton to victory.
Huntington skipper Neil Atkinson scored an unbeaten 89 as he and Wally Baynes (44) helped their side to 191 for six at Huby. Baynes then took four for 84 and Steve Beales three for 61 as Huby drew at 153 for eight, Darren Howell scoring 27 and Wayne Howell 26.
Pocklington veteran Mal Harrison hit 74 as his side made 147 for eight against Dunnington, whose 14-year-old Michael Noble took three for 23. Dunnington's reply was spearheaded by Ian Burgess, who made 46 and, with Gary Andrew scoring 30 and John Goodricke 33, Dunnington won by six wickets.
Yapham's remote hope of promotion suffered a setback when rain stopped play after 22.2 overs against Selby, who were in disarray at 85 for seven. Kev Lund scored 34 and Alan Hullah 26 while Angus Scott took three for 11 for Yapham.
