York City Supporters' Club drive for new members continues to gather momentum with almost 200 members signed up.
Now the organisation is hoping tomorrow's prestigious friendly against Manchester United, and Tuesday's clash with Middlesbrough, will see an even greater surge in new members.
Press and membership officer Rob Havercroft will be in the Bootham Crescent club shop tomorrow, from 1pm to 3pm, for supporters wanting to sign up.
And a YCSC official will also be present in the shop from 6pm on Tuesday, prior to the kick-off of Wayne Hall's testimonial match against Boro.
Supporters' club secretary Ray Wynn will be in attendance on Friday, August 4, and Friday, August 11, from 10am to noon.
So far, the club has attracted members from across the country and around the globe, including a fan in Boston, America.
The recruitment drive was launched after chairman Douglas Craig said he would allow a fans' representative to sit on the board once the supporters' club boasted a 1,500-strong membership.
Postal applications, including the £1 membership fee, should be sent to Wynn at 155 Manor Drive North, York Y026 5SD with cheques made payable to York City Supporters' Club.
Applications for the Malton and Norton branch of the supporters club should be posted to Mark Copeland, 15 Wold Street, Norton.
