MORE than 20,000 bags of clothing and other goods were collected for Barnardos children's charity by York-based National Railway Supplies.
Together with branches of Brown Brothers and Partco Autoparts - all part of the Unipart Group - it was one of the largest nationwide appeals ever run by a single company.
During the three-day campaign Unipart employees donated a massive amount of clothing, books, tapes and CDs for the "Bag it Up for Barnardos" campaign for resale at Barnardos shops.
Unipart graduate trainee Robert Williams who led the project team said campaign "combined our logistic expertise and communications skills."
