COMMUTERS waiting for trains at York Station had an unscheduled treat as they watched Only Fools and Horses star David Jason filming the final scene of a feature-length episode of his popular detective series, A Touch of Frost.
The actor, famous for such memorable characters as Del Boy and Granville from Open All Hours, was spotted playing gruff old-timer Detective Inspector Jack Frost.
He was appearing alongside former Coronation Street actress Joanne Froggatt, who played troubled teenager Zoe Tattersall.
Sporting a bandage and cut lip for the scene on platform 11, Frost embraces and hands over a present to the actress before she boards a train.
But you'll have to wait to find out the cause of Frost's mysterious injuries and the story behind the fond farewell.
Yorkshire Television staff have refused to reveal any more details about the programme.
