CHARLES Brader, the farmer who lay pinned beneath his tractor for two hours after an accident, was still fighting for his life in hospital today.
A spokesman for St James' Hospital, where Mr Brader, 44, of Manor Farm, Thixendale, is in the intensive care unit, said his condition was still unchanged and he remains stable but critical.
Mr Brader, who is married with twin daughters, was discovered trapped by an arm and a leg under the tractor's roll cage on Saturday. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service fought for an hour-and-a-half to release him using specialist winches and air bags.
