THE Princess Royal came to York to see Army officer cadets being put through their paces.
The Princess was met by the commanding officer of London University Officer Training Corps, Lt Col Nigel Holland.
She was there in her capacity as Honorary Colonel of the Corps.
Dressed in a fawn tweed jacket, green cotton trousers and brown moccasin shoes, she showed a keen interest in the activities.
The 270 cadets are at Queen Elizabeth's Barracks in Strensall for their annual camp.
