IN THIS age of instant communication, when a message can pass across the world in the blink of an electronic eye, it is in a way comforting to see how Freeport Hornsea chooses to put across its message. They are sending us a town crier.
This imported bell-ringer will doubtless come across this city's own conveyer of peals, leading perhaps to a confrontation of clappers. Should such a meeting occur, we are sure that our own John Redpath could out-shout the interloper.
