NORDIC charm rubbed shoulders with Yorkshire's farmers as TV's Norwegian vet, Trude Mostue, followed in the footsteps of James Herriot.
The star of Vets In Practice has temporarily abandoned her usual speciality of small animals for the cattle and horses of the Great Yorkshire Show.
Her visit is the latest instalment of life in Yorkshire which has been experienced by the TV vet since she joined her friend Matthew Brash in his Stamford Bridge surgery at Battle Flatts.
Her adventures will be shown in 25 episodes of the new daily programme Vets In The Country, to be broadcast by the BBC from September 4.
Trude, who is usually based in Bristol, said: "This is my first time at this show and it has been great. It's the only showground I've seen which has been specially built for this event, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
"Yorkshire is a beautiful place. I've been re-living the James Herriot experience and have found the people friendly, and the scenery wonderful."
Trude's visit to the Great Yorkshire Show has also been a chance for her to face her fear of horses which she is determined to overcome.
