THIS artist's impression gives the first glimpse of what facilities will look like inside the Royal York Hotel's ultra-modern £2.5 million conference centre.
More than 50 jobs are expected to be created by the 3,000 sq ft conference and event centre, which will boast high-tech facilities for up to 375 delegates.
The centre, which is due to open in August, will include a light oak panelled auditorium, state-of-the-art interactive media wall, full air-conditioning and computerised lighting systems.
It will also feature computer graphics-compatible screens, full Autocue system, a sound system with 32-channel mixing desk and full disabled access and facilities.
