I HAVE just received a letter (unsigned) presumably in reply to mine of a few days ago, about the cost of running a car.

This letter read 'Cost of a car. The answer is buy a bike.'

I would be grateful if the writer could explain to me how I can get another pensioner and myself to and from Asda on a bike. Also my two pastimes involve going to Elvington and Full Sutton. A bit far for a bike, I would have thought.
