YORK City boss Terry Dolan was hoping to settle the Bootham Crescent futures of Alan Fettis and Darren Edmondson today.
The City chief is awaiting the duo's response to contract offers made at the end of last season and is hopeful the situation will be resolved before the senior squad returns for pre-season training on Thursday.
As reported in later editions of yesterday's Evening Press, Dolan maintains securing the services of both players is his chief priority after clinching the services of left-sided defender Graham Potter and striker Peter Duffield.
The City boss, who has said he would like to bring another goalscorer to York, expects no more arrivals until Fettis and Edmondson make clear their futures.
A couple of changes have been made to York's fixture list for the forthcoming campaign.
City will now play at Carlisle United on Friday, August 25, as opposed to August 26.
The Minstermen's home encounter with Blackpool on Saturday, December 23, will also kick-off a day earlier.
