I AM concerned that our country has become a nation of wimps.
Let's face it our petrol prices are the most expensive in the world and everyone moans but nobody is doing anything about it.
If we all stick together and demand petrol prices be cut dramatically, we can achieve anything.
First we should get thousands of signatures from forecourts all around the country demanding an instant cut by at least 20p a litre.
Then take all of these signatures to parliament.
If nothing is done promptly we could take further action like picketing forecourts, or even roads until we get our message across.
The Government works for the people, the people don't work for the government.
The Government's policy of pricing people off the road must be a form of discrimination.
The only people who will be forced off the road will be the poor.
The rich will then have all the roads to themselves. That has to be discrimination against the poor.
The more we accept high petrol prices, the more freedom and liberties we lose. It's your choice.

...I HOPE all vehicle owners will boycott buying fuel and back the RAC on August 1. If we all work together it could bring the price down, so please do it.
Ryedale MP John Greenway informs us that if we go ahead and boycott the petrol pumps it could force rural stations out of business and worsen the crisis in the countryside.
I cannot understand his thinking on this. Country garages and others have already been forced out of business by large supermarkets bringing prices down and these businesses cannot compete.
It has already happened.
