I COULDN'T believe reading in the Evening Press ('Constant reminder of tragedy', Tuesday, June 27) about flowers being placed on the tree in Beckfield Lane.
I cannot see the harm they are doing or why anyone would want them taken away.
I lost my daughter five years ago in September, and each year I go to place flowers at Howe Hill hostel where she died. It gives me a lot of relief to do that. It helps us through a very bad time. If anyone was to try to tell me not to place them there it would be very upsetting, and until it happens to you and you know what it's like, things should be left alone.
I just can't believe people are interfering like this.
