YORK Wasps supporters have the chance to attend next month's Northern Ford Premiership Grand Final for the bargain price of just £5.
All NFP clubs are being supplied with two coaches to take fans to the final at Swinton's Gigg Lane ground on Saturday, July 29.
The price of £5 includes travel, match ticket and a Ford goody bag.
The initiative is being funded in a three-way split between sponsors Northern Ford, the Rugby Football League and the clubs.
Although York will not be involved in the top eight play-offs, chief executive Ann Garvey is hoping supporters will show their support for the event.
A total of 80 places are available but the buses will only run if their is sufficient interest.
Anybody interested in travelling should ring Ann Garvey at the club on 01904 634636 within the next week.
Meanwhile, York's mascot Wobby will tomorrow hit the streets of York to give away free tickets to children for the Wasps' final match of the season at home to Lancashire Lynx next Friday.
Wobby and some of the Wasps players will be at the Browns end of Parliament Street at about 2.30pm.
They will be walking around the city centre handing out 500 tickets which will give children free admission to the Huntington Stadium match.
