IT was the moment of tooth for Scouse star Cilla Black when she was caught on film during a trip to York's Nestle Rowntree factory.
Cilla was filming for an episode of the Moment of Truth TV game show where contestants were set the challenge of moving Smarties from one plate to another using chopsticks.
Maybe she found the sight of all those York-made chocolate sweeties just too hard to resist.
Only Smarties have the answer, but her appearance on the lawn outside the Haxby Road factory created a stir among staff and attracted quite a few spectators.
The new series of the show is to be screened in the autumn, and instead of featuring one family cracking a challenge within a week, it will pitch two families against each other.
The two families involved in the Smarties challenge were from Liverpool and Stockport and, before filming with Cilla, they were treated to a tour of the Smarties production line.
Cilla, looking slim in cream trousers and a striped top, then joked with the families as they made their first attempts at lifting the Smarties on film.
They will now have a week to work on their technique, and to find out what happens, you'll have to tune in to the London Weekend Television show later in the year.
