YOU'VE heard of singing from the stomach, but here's a real case of music to aid the digestion.
Richard Burton, of York Opera, has been busy practising for his new role at Silvano's restaurant in Cumberland Street, York.
He will be playing Pang in the opera group's forthcoming production of Puccini's Turandot at York Theatre Royal beginning on July 11, and the Italian composer's works will be among those performed by soloists from York Opera in the restaurant on Saturday.
Richard will be joined in Silvano's by Clive Goodhead, Sharon Nicholson-Skeggs and Valerie Tiplady, accompanied by Margaret Griffith, for the evening of Italian opera which will begin at 8pm.
