MAY I be allowed through your paper to thank to the NHS (who we are always hearing pulled to pieces) and the wonderful caring staff of the York District Hospital, especially the Coronary Care Unit, Ward 32.
Four weeks ago my husband suffered a heart attack at home and from the two caring ambulance women who came, his life was in their hands. Also the wonderful surgeon who did his heart by-pass. I will never be able to thank them all enough.
I know if I'm ever lucky enough to win the lottery where my money will go. God bless them all. They are indeed Mr Blair's angels.
Beryl Glover,
Sir John Hunt's Homes,
Fulford, York.
