A YORK pub is going Euro 2000 crazy as soccer fever grips the nation ahead of England's big match with Portugal.
Deramore Arms landlord Ian Pawson has dyed his hair in the colours of the flag of St George while the pub itself is awash with white and red.
Flags and posters adorn the walls of the Heslington local, which has even held a Euro 2000 disco with people invited to turn up dressed in football kits, preferably the England strip.
A fanatical Leeds United supporter, Ian has made all the pub staff wear England shirts.
The Deramore is one of the many York pubs showing every Euro 2000 game live on a big screen.
England's opening match is against Portugal tonight, while the boys' crunch game against Germany takes place next Saturday, with their final group game versus Romania the following Tuesday.
